Inspired by Araki's Sensual Flowers series, Gurung collaborated with a printmaker in London to create a floral motif that adorned most of the pieces from georgettes to leather, even wool. Also the belts and the leather cords, that accessorized and completed the looks, were developed in collaboration with garbage dress. Some of the different techniques that mystified the audience were hand painting, lacquering latex and laser cut designs.
All in all, a lot of concepts, sculptured pieces and beautiful prints coming our way from this beautiful designer. My personal favorites being, the silk wool pieces (shorts and jackets) in the lovely purple and aqua blue colors and the whites in sheer with the leather cords.
