Giles Deacon's newest Resort collection for Emanuel Ungaro is bright, floral and definitely a hit with everyone. It features not just long floral maxi dresses and sailor inspired shift dresses....but also a whole range of safari wear for those explorers who like it away from the beach.
Inspired by Leroy Grannis photographs from the 1960s of California's bohemian surf and beach culture, Deacon infused bright colors and sunny prints onto his signature draped jersey dresses, blouses and maxidresses. As a nod to the traditional roots of the Ungaro brand--color, print, draping--Deacon used lemongrass yellow, neon pink, and multicolor prints in relaxed silhouettes and contrasted them with structured outwear pieces.
Khaki and army green tailored pants and blazers, a shift dress with cargo-style pockets and a perfectly pleated skirt for the perfect vacation ...a few strong pieces that make this collection an instant hit!!
